AFFILIATE MARKETING

➫ Affiliate marketing is simply an online business model

➫ It involves selling other people's products via an affiliate link. By promoting and selling the product(s) you earn a commission

➫ Commissions vary depending on the product being sold and the support offered to you as an affiliate. Commissions are usually classed as either high ticket (over $1,000) or low ticket (under $1,000)

Online Business Model

➫ Products can be either physical, for example Amazon items (no inventory required), or they can be digital, such as online courses

➫ You have control. The business is entirely your own. You are in no way accountable to the companies whose products you are selling

➫ The choice is yours – you pick the affiliate products and you decide how to promote them (and you definitely don't have to reach out to everyone you know)

What it's not

It is not a 'get rich quick' scheme

While it has become common to see affiliates promoting how easy it is to make 10K in the first month, this is not the basis of a strong affiliate business.

No one can guarantee you results. A successful affiliate business is not established instantly nor without effort – you get out what you put in.

It is not a pyramid scheme

Pyramid schemes offer the promise of payment/services in exchange for recruiting others into the scheme. No investment or product is ever supplied.

Affiliate marketing does not require you to recruit or build a 'team' and you will always be selling legitimate (physical or digital) products you have personal experience with.

It is not multi-level marketing

Multi-level marketing involves selling products to family & friends and recruiting others to do the same. Growing your 'team' is directly linked to your earning potential.

An affiliate business is not linked to another corporate entity in any way. You have absolute control over your content, earnings & target audience.

Who it's for

There is a lot of unfamiliarity surrounding online income streams and being skeptical isn't a bad thing. In fact, we encourage you to do your own research.

Our aim is simply to give you a solid starting point as we want affiliate marketing to feel readily accessible to everyone. If you can write an email or find your way around a smartphone, you can start your own affiliate business.
